Ethan Update!

Ethan has been a busy boy this summer, already! At the end of the scholl year, he was in "A Mid-Summer Night's Dream". He played Bottom, The Weaver and was amazing! It was so cool to see 8-14 year olds doing Shakespeare! They did a fantastic job! It was a condensed version-about 45 minutes long. Right after school ended, he was involved in a musical theater workshop. The show was Godspell (one of my favs!) and he sang the song "Day By Day" which happens to be the song I performed in the show when I did it! He also had a little solo at the end and several "bit parts" throughout. Godspell is truly an ensemble show where everyone's part is as big as the next with the exception of the role of Jesus. Ethan did such a great job and I am so proud! He is still doing Tae-Kwon-Do with Jeff and LOVES it! He just got his yellow belt last week! Quite the well-rounded boy!;) He goes to summer camp for the first time in a couple of weeks. It is the same camp I grew up going to and it was a very important part of my spiritual journey so I am happy he is old enough to experience that now. It starts on Friday afternoon and concludes on Sunday. Enjoy the pics and video! Ethan's song was done as a duet so a girl starts singing first...
